Xcelodose Systems Accessories & Replacement Parts
A number of accessories are available for the Xcelodose equipment line including the Xcelohood™ Containment System, Xceloprotect® Isolator and the Xcelodose® System Relative Humidity (RH) Control Unit.
Xceloprotect® Isolator
Operator safety is paramount when filling potent compounds, and the Xceloprotect Isolator not only offers protection, but can also improve operator efficiency by reducing or eliminating the need for gowning/de-gowning while offering improved access for cleaning. Custom designed to meet the needs of the Xcelodose® precision powder micro-dosing systems, the specially modified Xcelodose system and control cabinet are integrated or retrofitted into the Xceloprotect framework to isolate vibration transfer. Containment levels met give OEL < 1µg per m3 over an 8 hour time weighted period (the design is intended for Safebridge 3 and 4 applications).
Xcelohood™ Containment System
Designed for use with any Xcelodose system, the Xcelohood Containment System allows for safer filling of toxic or potent compounds. The Xcelohood containment system uses two fans to generate a negative pressure within the working area of the enclosure, creating a pressure differential that controls air flow into the cabinet and helps protect the operator from the filling powder. Key features include:
- Containment levels as low as OEL <5µg/m3 (tested to meet Safebridge 3)
- Xcelotable™ cabinet mechanically isolated from Xcelohood containment system and designed to eliminate vibration from fans so it does not interfere with the sensitive scale on the Xcelodose system
- Intelligent control system maintains face velocity, even when both access panels are open
- Easy access to remove both pre-filters and HEPA filters from front of unit using full bag in/bag out for safe changing
- Clear easily removable panels and internal light for ease of visibility
- Quiet operation
- Unit is mobile with top mounted fan filter to reduce footprint
Xcelodose® System RH Control Unit
The Xcelodose® System RH Control Unit is a compact stand-alone unit specially designed to control relative humidity (RH) within the dosing unit of the Xcelodose Precision Powder Micro-dosing System. Key benefits include:
- Helps prevent your hygroscopic compound from clogging
- More accurate RH control provides a more stable environment than operating in an RH controlled room, typically reducing RH in dosing unit to target within a few minutes*
- Saves time and money by maintaining dosing throughput
- Fully portable with temperature display and auto-cut off for safety
- Easy to fit and install by your own staff and can be retrofitted to all Xcelodose Systems
- Compatible with most dry gasses (not supplied)
*Depending on desired target, feed gas properties and flow rate set.
