Our expertise extends to powder formulations giving you the ability to leverage the Powder Formulations Expert System. Developed under the authority of Pr J.M. Newton of the School of Pharmacy at the University of London, with the support of Pr Hashida at the University of Kyoto, Pr Augsburger at the University of Maryland and Capsugel sponsorship, it captures the knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical industry experts from around the world. The system collects input from users concerning drug properties, compatibility with excipients, capsule sizes and company practices and then puts this information into a useful decision tree model, producing a detailed report with a recommended formula and tests to be performed.
