Coni-Snap

Coni-Snap® capsules from Capsugel are the world's most popular brand of two-piece gelatin capsules. The product of choice by leading pharmaceutical and dietary supplement companies for over 50 years, Coni-Snap capsules are renowned for their consistent and reliable performance.

The Coni-Snap capsule is formed by joining two precision-manufactured gelatin capsule sections. (See Getting Started With Capsules for basic product information). Coni-Snap capsules are available in a wide array of sizes, and can be colored and printed on to provide a unique and customized appearance.

The body section of the patented Coni-Snap design has a tapered rim that allows for problem-free encapsulation on high-speed capsule filling machines. The dual snap-ring locking system provides both initial attachment prior to capsule filling, as well as a final, secure closure of the filled capsule. The Coni-Snap design also includes air vents to avoid unwanted air compression within the capsule during high speed filling.
